Feng Shui Services

A Home Qi consultation is a thorough and personalised assessment of your space, drawing on a range of classical methods to suit the needs of the person and the property. The anticipated outcome is a set of recommendations that feel pragmatic and inspired.

Residential Consultation

Feng Shui Living Space

A consultation begins with an initial call or visit. This is where we shall talk about your space, your circumstances, and what you are hoping to change or invite into your life. From there, the space is assessed using a blend of classical feng shui methods, such as Flying Star, Eight Mansion and Landform principles, applied according to what your home and situation call for. The assessment is compiled into a written report, wherein the process of my evaluation is detailed along with a set of clear, practical recommendations. Suggestions may range from furniture layout and decoration to the more specific elemental remedies that Flying Star and other traditional techniques require. It is always up to you what sort of changes you’d like to make, e.g. move objects, move furniture, paint walls, make structural changes or relocate, and we’ll work within those boundaries.

Around two months after the report has been delivered, I will reach out to arrange a follow-up session. It’ll be important to review what changes have come about, address any questions, and make any refinements, if needed.

The aim throughout is a home that feels balanced, where contentment naturally arises.

Business/Commercial Consultation

Feng Shui for a commercial setting aims to create an environment that attracts and retains prosperity, supports productivity, and serves the people within it.

Industries where feng shui can offer solutions:

  • Hospitality - Cafes, hotels and restaurants can benefit greatly. Seating arrangements, door direction, colour themes, kitchen sectors and stove placement all have an accumulated impact on the experience of the client.

  • Retail - The arrangement of a shop has the potential to leave a strong impression with a customer; a shop that carefully considers its displays and signage can increase its attraction and customer retention. Door direction and cash register placement are also of importance, the type of qi they activate may have a positive or negative influence on the shop.

  • Office - A positive workspace supports clear direction, reduces stress and eases communication, conditions that naturally arise when the environment supports the parasympathetic nervous system.

  • Real Estate - Whether buying, selling or developing, feng shui offers a valuable perspective. Buyers can seek out a property most auspicious to them, and sellers can adjust the qi of a space to increase its appeal.

Auspicious Water Placement (for Residential and Commercial)

Water bonds our essence to the material world. Qi manifests through water. Water flows the way life flows. It is the most essential form of matter to our understanding of the patterns of life. It shapes us, it shapes land, it fosters and sustains evolutionary life, it is responsive. In feng shui, moving water generates and collects qi. As a fluid and potent form of qi, it is capable of manifesting great fortune, or it may drain it away. Most people would never attribute financial difficulty to the placement of a fish tank or garden fountain, yet in Flying Star Feng Shui moving water activates specific elemental patterns unique to each property and these patterns hold great influence over prosperity, overall health and wellbeing of its inhabitants.

If you are considering a water feature, indoors or outdoors, a fountain, fish tank or koi pond, its placement calls for very careful consideration.

Construction (for Residential and Commercial)

In the initial stages of developing a property, a feng shui consultation is a worthwhile investment. Once a building is constructed, repositioning doors and windows or changing the shape of rooms is no easy feat. Working with what exists is a standard limitation for a typical home consultation, but when feng shui is incorporated from the very beginning, aside from the landscape outside the realm of control, there is huge potential for a building that fully supports its occupants and also brings value to its external environment.

From the outset, a building can be orientated to access the most auspicious qi directions, with doors placed to activate wealth and good health, and rooms arranged to avoid negative elemental combinations. The relationship between the building and its surrounding landscape is equally significant; mountains and water both have a profound effect on the qi a property receives. It is, of course, impossible to move a mountain, but perfectly feasible to place a house to receive the most beneficial qi from one.

Constructing rooms with furniture arrangement in mind is also essential, enabling the placement of key pieces in the command position, and avoiding challenging layouts that may agitate the nervous system.
